Also known as: Hydrogenated Starch Hydrosylates, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysates (HSH)

Hydrogenated starch is an used as an alternative sweetener, created by the partial hydrolysis of vegetable starches like corn syrup. It is used to prevent crystallization and maintain shape and flow of syrups. It is most commonly found in beverages and candies.
