Polyethylene Glycol is a polyether used in the manufacturing of medicine. Produced through the reaction of ethylene oxide and water, it can be found in laxatives and other pharmaceutical products.

The FDA has been investigating the possible repercussions of continued use of polyethylene glycol and the use of the medical drug in children.
