Sulfur Dioxide is a non-nutritive additive used in sweeteners. It has a chemical formula of SO2. It the gas formed from the burning of sulfur and is added to preserve sweeteners. It is used as a color preservative and bleaching agent, mainly found in vegetables, wine, and syrups.
